SIDDHI HILL GARLIC (மலை பூண்டு)

This kind of garlics traditionally cultivated in high-altitude hilly areas. Normally whole garlic bulb has been dried using traditional drying techniques, and then tied up in transparent nets with support of wooden logs, where the produce would be exposed to smoke for a period of time. Garlic does not lose any of its nutritional value when smoked.

Hill garlic known for its pungent taste, aroma and more importantly for its medicinal value. Garlic contains small amounts of vitamins A, B6, and C, as well as minerals like selenium, calcium, magnesium, and zinc.
This kind of smoked processed garlic preserved for a maximum period about six months or more.
